David D. Greenberg

As President of Greenberg Capital, David has more than 25 years of experience in leadership and consulting work with a network of corporate and educational professionals. He is frequently called upon for guidance in new business ventures, strategic industry decisions and current market conditions.

Greenberg Capital makes strategic investments in key global markets, including real estate, hospitality, financial services, IT and software solutions.

David served as Executive Board and Board Member of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) during the time it was the world’s largest physical commodities exchange. While at NYMEX, he oversaw a decade of its largest growth from $800 million to $12 billion. As President of Sterling Commodities for 20 years, he was a trader and risk manager for one of the largest local clearinghouses at NYMEX and COMEX.

In the educational field, David has been a guest lecturer for a number of prestigious colleges and universities, including West Point Military Academy, Columbia Business School, Syracuse University’s Whitman School of Business, Hofstra University, New York University and Sacred Heart University’s Jack Welch School of Business.

David currently serves on the Executive Board of Junior Achievement of South Florida and Chairman of the Innovation Committee. He is a member of the Leadership Council for the United Negro College Fund of South Florida. Previously, he served as a board member for Suffield Academy and the 9/11 Tribute Center.

Throughout his career, Mr. Greenberg served as a market commentator and contributor on numerous media outlets including CNN, Fox Business News, Bloomberg and CNBC.

David divides his time between New York and Boca Raton, Florida.
